The wildlife section of the Envirothon challenges students to learn about the complexity of wildlife ecology; it is not just about identifying animals.  In order to be successful in this section, students are encouraged to learn information in the following four broad categories:
  • Knowledge of Birds and Mammals
  • Understanding Wildlife Ecology
  • Conservation and Management of Wildlife
  • Issues Involving Wildlife and Society

The links provided below* will help Envirothon participants prepare, however, be sure to "link around" to find additional useful information.  To provide an all inclusive list of wildlife resources would be overwhelming, therefore, only the most pertinent links are provided.
